This is a unique opportunity to play a direct role in the Community Fund, which will support local projects and initiatives that deliver tangible benefits to communities within a 50km radius of Wollar Solar Farm.

About the Community Reference Group

The Community Reference Group will help guide how funding is distributed under the Wollar Solar Farm Community Fund, which will operate for the life of the solar farm.

CRG members will:

• Review applications submitted to the Community Fund
• Provide feedback and recommendations on funding priorities
• Help ensure funding decisions reflect local values and community needs

By drawing on local knowledge and lived experience, the CRG plays an important role in ensuring the fund delivers meaningful, community-centred outcomes.

Who We’re Looking For

The CRG will include up to five (5) community members, alongside two (2) WSF representatives.

WSF is committed to forming a group that reflects the diversity of the Mid-Western Region community. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, including:

• First Nations community members
• Young people
• Individuals involved in community organisations or local services

Diversity of geography, gender, age, cultural background, experience and perspectives will be considered as part of the selection process.
