Wollar Solar Farm reached a significant milestone recently, with the successful installation of the final solar panel last week. With approximately 660,000 solar panels spread across nearly 500 hectares, this is a huge achievement for the construction team who have worked tirelessly to realise the end of the panel installation chapter for the project.

Site representative Bernie James shared a special thanks to the project’s solar panel installation contractor, Solar X, for their exceptional work.

“Their team has been nothing short of amazing—every step of the way, from management to their health, safety and environment practices, and all the way down to their hardworking crews. The positive energy they brought to the project has been infectious, and it’s been a pleasure working with them,” Mr James said

Construction at site continues to wind down as the project moves further into testing and commissioning. The teams at site will continue to decrease in the coming months, as Wollar Solar Farm progresses towards the next major milestone – construction completion and the start of full energy export to the grid!
