On 11 June, Wollar Solar Farm welcomed members of the Wollar Solar Development Board and Supervisory Committee for a significant site visit—marking the first time the full group has attended the project together.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for Board and Committee members to experience the scale and progress of the solar farm first-hand, alongside solar farm owner BJEI Australia’s leadership and project team. Board Chair Warwick Smith AO was joined by Directors Trevor Armstrong and Rhyson Li, as well as members of the Supervisory Committee and BJEI Australia CEO Liang Guo.

Guided by Site Manager Bernie James, the group toured key areas of the solar farm, including close-up views of the solar panels, supporting infrastructure, and the surrounding environment. The visit concluded with the Board’s first on-site meeting, enabling directors to take a closer look at construction progress and assess current operational performance in a practical, real-world setting.

Board members commended the strong progress achieved in delivering the project, acknowledging the scale and complexity involved in bringing Wollar Solar Farm to its current stage. The project continues to progress towards formal completion stage, with further updates to be provided in the near future.
