Applications are now open for the 2026 Wollar Solar Farm Community Fund, with $100,000 available to support projects and initiatives that deliver lasting benefits to communities within 50 kilometres of the solar farm.

Developed with input from the local community, the Fund has been established to support local priorities and strengthen the region’s social, environmental and economic wellbeing. Funding is available for projects aligned with key focus areas including education, youth and aged care services, First Nations initiatives, community participation, environment and biodiversity, and tourism.

The Community Fund builds on the success of Wollar Solar Farm’s construction-phase Sponsorship Program, which provided more than $40,000 in support to local organisations and community initiatives.

Eligible not-for-profit organisations, incorporated community groups and charitable organisations are encouraged to apply.

Applications close at 5.00pm on Wednesday 23 September 2026.
