Wollar Solar has submitted an application to the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) to modify the approved battery energy storage system (BESS) size from 30MW/30MWh to approximately 280MW with two hours of storage capacity (560MWh).

The application has now been placed on public exhibition, and community members are encouraged to visit the NSW Planning Portal to view all related documents, including specialist reports. Submissions can also be made through the Portal.

Public exhibition for this application will close on 4 July 2025.

Once the public exhibition closes, a submissions report will be prepared to address the points raised.
