The Wollar community came together recently to enjoy a Family Fun Day at the Community Hall, including circus training activities and a group project, the painting of a beautiful mural, which injected some much-needed colour on the toilet block on the Hall grounds.

More than 20 families from the village and surrounds joined together to paint a native fauna-inspired mural on the structure, which will make a striking feature in the small town for locals and passers-by to enjoy. Children and adults alike also got to dabble in a circus workshop from local company B-Cirque, as well as face painting and delicious food.

The event was organised by the Wollar Progress Association, with support for the event provided through Round 4 of Wollar Solar’s Sponsorship Program. The Program, which provided funding across four rounds during the construction of the solar farm, recently wrapped up ahead of the project moving towards its operations phase.
