The first weekend in March saw the 179th Mudgee Show in full swing. Wollar Solar was delighted to support this wonderful family and community event as a Gold Sponsor in 2024.

Bernie James, representing the solar farm, attended the show on Friday. “It was great to see such a large crowd visiting the wide variety of stalls, sideshow alley entertainment and watching the ring events. I particularly enjoyed the rodeo,” he said.

Established in 1846 the Mudgee Show is the second oldest continually operating show society in NSW. Its success is largely due to support from local businesses like Wollar Solar Farm.

As a Gold Sponsor, Wollar had a bundle of Show tickets to share with their partners and the community.

“We were pleased to be able to share some of the tickets with our work crews on the project to thank them for their efforts over the past few years.” Mr James said.  “I was also pleased to be able to provide show passes to one of Wollar Solar’s neighbouring family’s  as well as 21 children’s tickets to the Barnados Foundation.

“Being able to provide an opportunity for children who may not have had the chance to attend the show, to go and have a wonderful day out reinforces our commitment to being a good community neighbour and supporting the local community.”
