October is the month when the whole Mudgee community comes together to support Breast Cancer Awareness, helping to encourage fund raising efforts for the McGrath Foundation through the “Pink Up Mudgee” initiative.

The team at Wollar had pink stickers included on all the solar farm’s vehicles, joining the hundreds of local businesses that contribute to this month-long spectacle. Shops on the main street, schools, firefighters, tradies and doctors, the pub, the local veterinary hospital and many others wear something pink to “Pink Up Mudgee”.

Mudgee was the first town in Australia to turn pink and shine a light on the impact of breast cancer in their community and this year Wollar Solar Farm was proud to take part.
