Representatives from the Wollar Solar Farm project team hit the road with pedal power for the Mudgee Classic recently, despite less than ideal weather conditions.

Wollar Solar Farm was a proud sponsor for this year’s Mudgee Classic, which saw more than 2,000 riders taking on multiple courses around the Mudgee region over the 4th and 5th of May.

Riders could choose from everything from the “Dirty Mudgee” off road ride, to a 175km Maxi course winding through Mudgee and surrounding areas.

Construction Project Manager Stuart Miller, who completed the 65km Rouleurs Classic, said that it was great to see cycling enthusiasts from near and far enjoying the best of the region.

“It was wonderful to join the Mudgee Classic this year and to see the Wollar Solar Farm banners greeting us as we crossed the finish line.

“In the conditions it was a challenging ride, but the riders remained in good spirits throughout to enjoy a rewarding event.”
